Ultimately in order to achieve permanent results from any diet or fitness training program, habits must be addressed. Habits are rooted in the mind. Conventional fitness training methods and diets are effective in helping you accomplish specific goals, but they can only take you so far because they're superficial goals, they are focused only on the body. They do not help you consciously address the underlying causes of your habits which are responsible for your behaviors. In order to do that you must go within via meditation and discover for yourself what's causing you to do what you're doing. Meditation will show it to you. This is what it is designed to do. Willpower is just another way of saying you're forcing yourself to do something you really don't want to do. You've been there and done that for decades. Diets are about what you can and can't have and what you must do. Where's the fun in that?
